About me

Disinformation, artificial intelligence, life online. I design courses and workshops that give participants a framework they can use in practice, not just definitions. I also teach learning design and training skills, so that other trainers can pass these topics on.

At Digiskills I design digital learning programmes for companies and the public sector and I am responsible for the learning methodology.

I am also the expert guarantor of Zvol si info, a Czech media literacy nonprofit. I led it as chairwoman for six years and today I support it as a mentor and expert advisor.

How I work

How I design learning

I do not build courses that start with content. First I look for what needs to change. Only then do I choose the format, activities and technology.

01 Understanding

I need to understand the people and the problem they are solving. I separate symptoms from real needs.

01 · I ask
  • What is not working today?
  • Who is the learning for?
  • What do participants want?
  • What does the organisation need?

Output: A clearly defined problem + a solid grasp of the target group

02 Designing the change

How will we know the learning worked? I define the target state first and only then the content.

02 · I define
  • what should change
  • how we will see it in practice
  • how we will measure it
  • the knowledge and attitudes needed

Output: Target state + measurable learning objectives + indicators of success

03 Building the solution

Only at this point do I start thinking about the format, activities and technology.

03 · I design
  • the learning journey
  • workshops, e-learning
  • mentoring, community learning
  • support after the programme ends

Output: A concrete learning solution that leads to a change in behaviour

See me in action

Working with people

Beyond talks and videos, most of my work happens off camera: long term courses, interactive workshops and methodologies created together with the people who then use them. I work with teachers, the public and nonprofit sector including libraries, and with company teams.

The talks at our regional library were genuinely engaging. As the organiser I attended events for seniors, librarians, students and the general public, and they were all on a very high level. Veronika kept talking with the audience throughout, checked that people understood the material and gathered feedback. Visitors left satisfied and full of new information.
